Canteens of Cutlery |
Elizabeth & Claude VougaAntique English Silver |
| Cutlery is one of our special areas of interest within the field of Antique English Silver. We always have a large selection on stock and can locate specific pieces on request. | |
| Our stock normally comprises numerous 19th century canteens of cutlery, complete for 12 place-settings, fitted into wooden boxes, comprising 84 pieces in all (table spoons, forks, knives, dessert spoons, forks, knives, and tea spoons). Separate sets of fish and dessert cutlery are also on stock, as well as a variety of serving pieces. | |
| We can supply small and large canteens of cutlery, i.e. for
6, 8, 18 and 24 place-settings, as well as part-canteens or individual
serving pieces in all available patterns, either loose or fitted into
boxes and can endeavor to complete existing sets. The fact that only a limited number of patterns existed in England and that new knives exist for each of them allows us to order new knives to match antique sets of cutlery; this also applies to certain types of fish cutlery. |
